The job
The Systems Engineer is the key person in the development team. He or she drafts equipment specifications based on process- and other requirements, expands those specifications to design specifications and guards the correct implementation of those. The System Engineer documents specifications, design concepts and test procedures and involves sub-contractors for well-documented design, manufacturing and testing tasks.
A typical team within OLED Technologies consists of a Project Manager, a Systems Engineer, a Process Engineer, various Design Engineers and an Application Engineer.
Function requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in the design of complex high technology manufacturing equipment
• Self starter, customer-focused, able to work with incomplete or implicit specifications
• Able to switch and connect between specification, concept and details
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and a good understanding of electrical systems
• Bachelors or (preferably) masters degree in mechanical engineering
• Affinity and (preferably) experience with vacuum and printing technologies
• Good documentation and communication skills
The Senior Systems Engineer must fulfill the additional requirements below:
• Group leader or management team ambition and proven ability
• Exceptional quality awareness; able to transfer this attitude to other team members
• Procedure-minded without being rigid
• 10+ years of multi-disciplinary professional experience
• Experience with high-level communication (board level)

Printing Process Engineer
Printing solution-based OLED materials is one of the pillars of OLED display manufacturing. Ultra-precise drop positioning, volume control and reliability are the key to a manufacturing-grade printing process. The printing process engineer will work with top-of-the-line industrial inkjet printers, capable of printing to within a few micrometers on a TV-sized substrate. The printing process engineer will cooperate with other printing experts to further develop the capabilities of OLED printing, to make demonstration displays for prospective customers and to contribute to machine definition, based on process specification. Depending on knowledge and affinity, the responsibilities can be expanded to pre- and post treatment processes (typically plasma pre-treatment and bake-out).
•5+ years of industrial experience , preferably in process development
•At least 2 years of experience with industrial inkjet printing. Experience with Litrex printers and/or printing of organic electronic materials would be a great asset.
•Result-driven attitude, problem solving and organizational skills

(Sr.) Process Development Engineer Thin Film Encapsulation
Thin Film Encapsulation (TFE) is one of the pillars of the OLED display manufacturing.
TFE involves the uniform layering of organic (printing) and inorganic materials (plasma deposition), to protect electronic materials from deterioration due to exposure to moisture and oxygen.
The TFE engineer will cooperate with other experts to further develop the capabilities of TFE process, to make demonstrators for prospective customers and to contribute to machine definition based on process specification. A candidate qualifying for the position of sr. engineer contributes considerably to the companys technology roadmap and to the procurement of equipment.
Function requirements
•5+ years of industrial experience preferably in process development
•At least 2 years of experience with vacuum deposition techniques, PVD, PECVD, and /or printing of organic materials will be a great asset.
•Result-driven attitude, problem solving and organizational skills.
•Bachelors of masters degree (or comparable level, obtained through experience) in a relevant direction, e.g. Physics or chemistry.
•Manufacturing minded
•Good documentation, cooperation and communication skills.

(Sr.) Process Development Engineer OLED evaporation
OLED technologies manufactures equipment to mass-produce OLED displays. Evaporating OLED materials is one of the processes that we offer our customers, either to complement printed stacks or to produce a complete device. A typical layer in an OLED device is 10-100 nm thick and has thickness uniformity over a substrate of less than 3 %. The development engineer will cooperate with other experts to further develop our understanding of the OLED evaporation process . He or she defines process windows for individual layers as well as for combination of layers, make demonstrators for prospective customers and contribute to machine definition based on process specification. A candidate qualifying for the position of sr. engineer will, in addition, contribute considerably to the companys technology roadmap and to the procurement of equipment.
•At least 2 years of experience with vacuum deposition techniques, preferably with materials for organic electronics.
